Two secluded farm house cottages on the Snowy River between Orbost and Buchan. Ultimate in peace and tranquility. Each cottage sleeps at least 10 people. Views down the Snowy across to the National Park. Birds, wildlife and your hosts are the only neighbours.

Visit P. Ricardo beach for surf fishing and beautiful sunsets. Also, Yeering Estuary is a delightful area for family outings.
Touring
Orbost is rich with places of interest and is a starting point for exploring Snowy River Country and beautiful surrounding rainforest areas.
Visit Grandview Lookout for magnificent views over the famous Snowy River flats, once busy with buggies and bullock wagons. From Marlo, where the Snowy River meets the sea, paddle schooners and ketches once carried produce to Melbourne.

Cape Conran Reserve displays a stunning coastline of headlands, rocky shores, sheltered bays and endless beaches. You might see some of the abundant wildlife including a large range of birds and nocturnal animals. Stay at the natural camping area or in secluded timber cabins. Enjoy picnics, nature trails, swimming, surfing, surf fishing and canoeing.
The largest remaining cool and warm temperate rainforests are found in East Gippsland, the Rainforest Capital of Victoria. Visit the Rainforest Centre in Orbost to learn more about these ancient forests.
Visit the Slab Hut, an authentic early settler's hut relocated from near the Snowy River, and now the Visitors Information Centre.
Before you leave the Orbost area make sure that you take in the Cabbage Tree Palms, where you can see the only stand of native palm in Victoria.
