The Australian environment is so rich and diverse, it is often hard to know where to turn to learn more.

There is a lot on TV, but it is not the same as experiencing it for yourself.  So why not go to the folks with first hand knowledge  -  Gippsland’s local naturalists.

Bairnsdale and District Field Naturalist Club Inc. encourage conservation, enjoyment and education about Australia’s natural ecosystems, especially in wonderful East Gippsland.

Members include some of the local area’s most experienced naturalists on trees, birds, wildflowers, frogs, mammals and the environment.

All members are willing to share their knowledge with new members and their families.
